Job Description: Host/Host

Duties:

- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Escort guests to their assigned tables and provide menus
- Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests
- Manage the waitlist and seating arrangements to ensure efficient table turnover
- Answer phone calls and take reservations with excellent phone etiquette
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process guest orders and payments
- Collaborate with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and waiting area
- Provide exceptional guest relations by delivering prompt, attentive, and personalized service

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Strong organizational skills to manage the waitlist and seating arrangements efficiently
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar restaurant management software is a plus
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Positive attitude, professional appearance, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest services
